Migration

Bring twelve years of history.
Keep all of it.

The scariest part of leaving a legacy platform is the move. So we made the move the most engineered part of the product: field-level auditing, zero writes to your old system, and a 48-hour median from contract to first dispatched job.

02The 48 hours

What actually happens, hour by hour.

Six moves. Two of them are yours.

  1. Hour 0

    Connect, read-only

You grant API access to your legacy account. We never get write access; the connection is physically incapable of changing your data.

Your part10 minutes: approve the connection.

  2. Hours 0–6

    Ingest everything

Catalog, pricing, labor, quotes, projects, change orders, POs, receipts, service contracts, customers, sites, serials, documents. The raw payload is preserved beside the imported record, forever.

Your partNothing. Go run your shop.

  3. Hours 6–18

    The fidelity audit

Every imported field is compared three ways: what your legacy account says, what the import captured, what the live record shows. Silent defects surface here, not six months later.

Your partNothing yet. The report is being written for you.

  4. Hours 18–30

    Your review

You get the deltas, ranked: prices that drifted, contracts reading $0, undated POs. Approve fixes one by one or in bulk. Anything you correct by hand is marked protected and never overwritten.

Your part30–60 minutes with coffee. This is the longest you'll spend.

  5. Hours 30–46

    Parallel run

Both systems live side by side. Your team clicks around real records, the independent verifier proves the legacy data is a subset of ours, and nothing is burned.

Your partPoke holes. That's the job.

  6. Hour 48

    First job dispatched

Median time from contract to a real job dispatched through Optimus. The legacy account stays untouched behind you for as long as you want the safety net.

Your partRun Monday from the new tab.

03The fidelity auditor

Row counts lie. Fields don’t.

Every migration tool reports “12,000 records imported.” Nobody tells you the service contracts all read $0 a month. Our auditor compares every field three ways: what your legacy account says, what the import captured, what the live record shows. On the first production migration it made 226,938 comparisons and corrected 377 defects the row counts had blessed.

  • 01Read-only against your legacy account: 1,138 GET calls, zero writes
  • 02Hand corrections are marked protected, never overwritten
  • 03An independent verifier proves legacy ⊆ Optimus after every pass

Migration is $0 on Pro and Enterprise. Your legacy subscription can lapse on its own schedule; we keep the raw payloads forever either way.

05Fair questions

Asked by every shop that switched.

Is there downtime?

No. Your legacy account keeps working through the whole move; we only read from it. You choose the moment the team starts running Monday from Optimus, and the old tab stays behind as the safety net for as long as you want.

What if we customized fields?

Custom fields map to extension fields automatically; anything ambiguous lands in your Hour 18 review instead of being guessed at. The raw source payload is stored beside every record permanently, so nothing is ever unrecoverable.

What about quotes that are mid-flight?

They import with sections, options, and revision history, and the fidelity audit checks their totals against the source to the penny. Shops routinely send a legacy-born quote for signature from Optimus in week one.

Who does the work?

The engine does. Your total hands-on time is the connection approval (10 minutes) and the delta review (under an hour). There is no consultant, no spreadsheet homework, no “data preparation phase.”

What does it cost?

$0 on Pro and Enterprise. If you leave, your data exports completely: every record, every document, every raw payload. Data hostage-taking is a legacy-platform business model, not ours.

The safest move you’ll make this year.

Bring a sample export to the demo and we’ll run the fidelity audit on your real catalog, live, before you sign anything.
